Bump Map...
Below is the current bump which raises the stickers and the rough plastic material on the underside of the toy car.
Decals...
Decals have been added to the UVW Map and it is now essential to apply a bump to the model in order to bring the texture to life.
Further Block Colours...
The rest of the model has been given a basic colour so it is now possible to fully visualise the colours as a whole and see if they work...
Block Colours...
Simple block colours were the first addition to the UVW Map in Photoshop. This was simply to get a basic start to the process before adding smaller details.
Unwrapping...
The car has been unwrapped and organised and is now ready to be exported into Photoshop to begin the texturing process.
Material...
A Multi/Sub-onject material has now been applied to the Remote Control Car asset in order to help with the unwrapping process.
Axel...
The Axels were crafted and implimented into the cars design. They were then welded accordingly to the main mesh structure.
Suspensions...
Suspensions were crafted using springs and dampers. These were then welded together and implimented into the model in the correct position. The poly count was too high on this particular section of the model however, so it was stripped and cleaned in order to be more efficient.
Tires...
The next stage of the process was to create a tyre to use that suits a remote control car. I decided to go with a generic bump tyre as seen on the RC car from Toy Story.
The tyre was then duplicated and resized accordingly in order to complete the basic structure of the asset itself.

Spoiler...
After the basic shape was accomplished, I then began work on a spoiler. The spoiler was created using extrude, bridge and cut tools. As seen below, the spoiler is over-emphatic and really helps to add to the remote control car feel.
Underside...
The underside of the car has now been edited to create more of a curved edge and add a more streamlined finish to the shape...
Bug Scoop...
A 'Bug Scoop' has now been added to the model in accordance to the referance picture. This was done using the Connect and cut tools.
The same was done on the sie of the car.
Now I must make the edges of the under-side of the car more gradual and smooth...

More Shaping...
More shaping has now been implimented into the model. This has created a more streamlined car shape. It is now time to move on to adding some simple but defining features such as the 'Bug Scoops' etc.

Shaping...
I have now changed the simple shape to look more like that of a car. This was done with slightly more manipulation and sub-division.
To Begin...
A reference image has been obtained after some browsing and a basic shape has been added.
It began with a simple box shape and using connect was sub-divided. The vertex were then manipulated to make the above shape.
